MICRO SHORT FILMS SECTION (IN COLLABORATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE, SPAIN)

Since 2018, within the practical activities of the course of Semiotics of Mass Communication, taught by Dr. Raúl Rodríguez-Ferrándiz, Dr. Tatiana Hidalgo-Marí and Dra. Cande Sánchez Olmos for the Degree in Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Alicante, students make a fantastic genre micro-short film. Of all the pieces presented in the course, the two highest rated micro-short films are screened at the Elche International Fantastic Film Festival – FANTAELX. With this activity, the festival echoes this microformat where the capacity for audiovisual synthesis must be worked on, promoting the dissemination of practices from the university environment.
