For the eleventh edition of the Elche International Fantastic Film Festival – FANTAELX, the illustrator and filmmaker Mario-Paul Martínez has been in charge of creating the four posters that, connected to each other, respond to this year’s leitmotiv: Science and Fantastic Creatures. In them, we find great emblems of the fantastic devouring one after another, such as: the colossal gorilla King Kong, whose first black and white film was released 90 years ago; the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex from the movie “Jurassic Park”, which celebrates 30 years since its premiere; the science fiction cosmic entity Cthulhu, created by HP Lovecraft ; and the classic Godzilla, Nippon’s most famous kaiju, the result of nuclear radiation. The Festival will also feature the big screen projection of “Jurassic Park”, whose tribute will kick off this new edition, which will take place on November 9 to 25. The entire programming is detailed below, with locations and schedules.
* All festival activities are free of charge until capacity is reached, without the need to reserve an invitation in advance.

Others such as Ridley Scott, Richard Corben, Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, or Dan Tugde, have done it in film, comics, role-playing games or video games, respectively.
